Sevita Procurement & Vendor Relations Manager in Tampa, Florida

The Procurement & Vendor Relations Manager directly oversees our offshore procurement operations team and ensures that all of Sevita’s day to day procurement operations functions are being successfully performed. This role is also responsible for continuously evaluating and nurturing our strategic vendor relationships while ensuring that our business stakeholders consistently engage with all of our preferred vendors whenever feasible.

This role is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Sevita’s offshore procurement operations team, ensuring that the team adheres to all established processes and regularly meets all performance goals & SLAs

  • Continuously assess and improve (as needed) all operational workflows, procurement processes etc. in order to ensure that the business is properly supported

  • Manage the overall strategic relationship with Zycus (Sevita’s eProcurement system vendor) and are ultimately responsible for the system’s optimal performance

  • Collaborate with Category Managers and other cross-functional teams to develop and successfully implement procurement strategies; including the onboarding of new vendors and potentially the establishment of new vendor catalogs in Zycus (Sevita’s eProcurement system)

  • Review all new vendor onboarding requests

  • Monitor and make sure that all teams are in compliance with our procurement policies and that they are utilizing Sevita’s preferred vendor relationships whenever feasible

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sevita’s key strategic vendors

  • Evaluate overall vendor performance, conducting regular vendor assessments, QBRs etc.

  • Work to resolve vendor disputes and/or other vendor related issues in a timely manner

  • Monitor and report on procurement and vendor related KPIs; elevating risks or concerns to leadership

  • Manages assigned personnel. Completes performance evaluations, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management, with a proven track record of success

  • Proven experience in managing offshore teams (preferably in India)

  • Proficiency with eProcurement /P2P software (Zycus knowledge/experience would be a plus)

  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPM, CPSM) is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and vendor evaluation

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
